We had a great date on Saturday night. We had a reservation for 8pm and were seated right away. The service was fantastic with Jessica. We had the meatballs to start, and the short rib papperdelle along with the swordfish. Finished with the banana Rama for dessert. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere was lively and the band started at 9pm. Great time, and look forward to going again.
First time here after eight years of visiting OC, and I was missing out! The staff is committed to making the experience enjoyable and tasty. Ambiance is updated yet traditional. Get the Sugar Dog martini. Steak frites is a must. Short rib is huge and delicious. Seafood bisque is decadent (recommend splitting for 2). A bit noisy but it is a pub after all. Classic and timeless.
FUN! FUN! FUN!... We went there for the 1st time for a birthday celebration.
Food was really good - our steaks were actually perfect!
Drinks were amazing and well served ( Strong )
Energy was upbeat
Lighting was dim
Service was fast , friendly, professional
Apparently, RHO- OC celebrity sightings are quite frequent if you're in to that.
Overall... we will definitely return for more fun and to hear the live entertainment that starts around 9pm
After standing in the bar shouting hello for a few minutes toward kitchen staff who could clearly hear me…I was told only the outside area was open (it’s a large bar in an open square and not entirely clear). The outside staff were quick and spoke good English and generally very attentive. You wouldn’t believe a club sandwich could be both too soggy and too dry…but they nailed it….really bland unpleasant food unfortunately.I had chosen this bar as they advertise as somthing of a sports bar? However the impressive outdoor screen was showing real estate adverts for as yet unfinished properties….best skip this place 👍
I have been going to QW for decades and I’m sad that the quality of food has declined.
The drinks are $20 for the smallest martini I have ever seen served in a plastic cup and they automatically charge you 20% tip on top of it. At least serve it in a glass and larger portion. It was a kids size!
Zucchini was undercooked both times ( it was sent back) and second time it was burned on the outside. The server did not seem to care either. I realize it was busy, but I feel that it used to be an “A” establishment and now it’s a “C-“ . If I’m going to pay more $$ to eat and drink, it should be worth it.
I do not give out 5 stars easily but this place deserves them all. The food was so good I'm going to be thinking about it tomorrow, it's expensive but so worth it! The staff was very welcoming and everyone was nice! Highly recommend the rib pasta and that garlic bread is the best garlic bread I've ever had!
The best food ans the artichoke presentation was gorgeous 😍. Tiffany was an amazing server! The drinks were our favorite! The red pigeon and the cucumber 🥒 drink 🍸 were so tasty. Loved that garlic cheese bread, the swordfish tacos on a taco 🌮 Tuesday was spectacular! …
The place is very loud and gets very crowded. You will also meet a lot of people it is what you make of it. The band that was playing that night was good.
